Can playing music rewire the schizophrenic brain?
NCT ID NCT06641297
Summary
This study aims to understand if training on a mock musical instrument can improve the brain's internal wiring in people with schizophrenia. Researchers will use brain scans to measure changes in brain tissue structure and chemistry in 36 participants. The goal is to learn more about how the brain might be able to change in response to training, not to provide a direct treatment.
