Mindfulness and brain zaps tested to fight memory loss

NCT ID NCT07441122

Summary

This study aims to see if a combination of mindfulness meditation and gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation can help strengthen the brain's attention and memory networks. Researchers will work with 100 participants, including healthy older adults and those diagnosed with mild cognitive impairment (MCI). They will use a special brain-computer interface cap to measure brain activity during memory games and provide real-time feedback to try and improve cognitive function.
