Can brain games and exercise slow memory loss? new study investigates
NCT ID NCT05483790
Summary
This study tested whether a 12-week program of brain training, physical exercise, and healthy lifestyle coaching could help improve or maintain thinking skills in older adults. 120 participants, aged 50-75 with normal memory or mild memory concerns, were randomly assigned to either the intensive training program or a general health education group. Researchers measured memory, thinking skills, and quality of life over a full year to see if the program made a lasting difference.
