Scientists test MRI Brain-Zapping to fight depression
NCT ID NCT05703256
Summary
This study is testing whether a special brain training technique using MRI scans can help people with depression. During the training, participants see their own brain activity in real-time and learn to strengthen positive emotional responses. Researchers will compare this active training against a sham version in 200 adults with depression to see if it reduces symptoms and improves daily functioning.
