Scientists test 'Mind-Reading' helmet to stop binge eating
NCT ID NCT05614024
Summary
This study is testing whether giving women with bulimia nervosa real-time feedback about their brain activity while they eat can help them gain better control over their eating behaviors. Researchers will use a special wearable brain-scanning device during a single training session to see if it reduces binge eating and purging episodes. The goal is to see if this brain-training approach can help manage symptoms of this eating disorder.
