Doctors map Brain's hidden signals to predict recovery from severe injury
NCT ID NCT06101537
Summary
This study aimed to understand how brain temperature and pressure relate to each other in patients with serious, sudden brain injuries. Researchers monitored 208 adults with severe brain injuries from bleeding or trauma to see if patterns in these measurements could predict how well patients recover one month later. This was an observational study that only collected data to improve future care, not to test a new treatment.
