First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 28 times

Summary

This study looks at how brain activity syncs up between two people during social interactions, aiming to understand why social connection is harder for those with schizophrenia. About 100 participants—half with schizophrenia and half without—will have their brain waves recorded while drawing and tapping with a partner. The goal is to find clues that could lead to better treatments for social difficulties.
