Scientists scan brains to unlock secrets of social connection

NCT ID NCT07457567

Summary

This Yale University study aims to understand how two people's brains work together during live, face-to-face social interactions. Researchers will use brain imaging and mild, non-invasive brain stimulation on 50 healthy adults to measure changes in brain activity and eye contact behavior. The goal is to map the brain networks involved in social synchronization, which could inform future studies on social difficulties.
