Brain surgery Wake-Up call: can less anesthesia mean clearer recovery?

NCT ID NCT06844838

Summary

This study is testing whether using lower doses of anesthesia drugs during brain tumor surgery helps patients wake up faster and more clearly afterward. Researchers will monitor 100 adults having elective brain surgery to see if carefully controlled, lower-dose anesthesia leads to better immediate recovery. The goal is to improve the patient's experience right after surgery by reducing grogginess and confusion.
