Brain scans reveal hidden cause of Yo-Yo dieting
NCT ID NCT03578887
Summary
This study used brain scans to understand why people often regain weight after successful dieting. Researchers scanned the brains of 112 adults with different weights and tracked them through weight loss programs or surgery. They wanted to see if brain inflammation affects weight loss success and if surgery works differently than dieting alone.
