Scientists map the Brain's speech learning network
NCT ID NCT06492252
Summary
This Yale University study aims to understand how the brain learns and remembers new speech movements. Researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) and a non-invasive stimulation technique (TMS) on 50 healthy participants to see which brain areas are involved. The goal is to build a better model of speech motor learning, which could inform future therapies for speech disorders.
