Scientists probe the Brain's speech control room
NCT ID NCT07459803
Summary
This study aims to understand how the brain controls speech and why this process differs in people who stutter or have dyslexia. Researchers will test 90 adults, including those with typical speech, stuttering, or dyslexia, using speech tasks, MRI brain scans, and mild, non-invasive brain stimulation. The goal is to map the brain's speech control systems to better understand these conditions, not to provide treatment.
