Scientists probe Brain's GPS and memory systems
NCT ID NCT07423923
Summary
This study aims to understand how the brain creates memories of events and helps us navigate spaces. Researchers will use brain scans and recordings from a small group of healthy adults and some patients with epilepsy to compare these two mental processes. The goal is to gather knowledge that could one day inspire therapies to help people recover memory or navigation skills after a stroke or brain injury.
