Scientists probe the sleeping brain to unlock memory secrets
NCT ID NCT05452122
Summary
This study aims to understand how sleep helps form and strengthen our memories. Researchers will record brain activity from epilepsy patients during sleep and test if gentle sounds or electrical pulses can influence what they remember. The goal is to learn more about the brain's natural memory processes, not to provide a treatment.
