Scientists map the Brain's language network in real time
NCT ID NCT05283265
Summary
This study aims to understand how the brain processes language. Researchers will work with adults who have epilepsy and already have electrodes implanted in their brains for medical monitoring. Participants will read or listen to sentences while scientists record their brain activity and, in some sessions, apply mild electrical stimulation to see how it affects comprehension. The goal is to map the brain's language network, not to treat any condition.
