Summary
This study aims to understand how a prescription sleep medication called suvorexant affects the brain activity related to smoking addiction. Researchers will give the drug to daily smokers and use brain scans to see if it reduces cravings triggered by smoking cues and changes how the brain processes rewards. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform future treatments, not to provide a cure during this study.
