Scientists scan teen brains to unlock POTS mystery

NCT ID NCT05618054

Summary

This study aims to understand how the brains of teenagers with Postural Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) process visual information. Researchers will use brain scans (fMRI) to measure activity in a specific brain region while participants rest and perform a simple task. The goal is to learn more about brain communication patterns in POTS, which may help explain the condition's symptoms.
