First seen Apr 11, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 3 times
Summary
This study compares brain activity, stress responses, and inflammation in women with major depressive disorder (MDD), premenstrual dysphoric disorder (PMDD), and healthy women. Researchers will use stress tasks, brain imaging, and blood/saliva tests to understand how these conditions differ. The goal is to improve diagnosis and treatment, not to test a new therapy.
