At-Home brain zaps tested to boost memory in injured seniors

NCT ID NCT07332299

Summary

This study tests whether combining gentle brain stimulation with computer-based thinking exercises can improve attention, memory, and decision-making in older adults who have had a traumatic brain injury (TBI). Researchers will compare two groups of veterans aged 65+ to see if the stimulation makes the training more effective. The entire program is done at home with remote supervision to see if it's a practical option for this population.
