Scientists zap brains with sound to unlock secrets of thought
NCT ID NCT05303428
Summary
This study aims to understand how a gentle, noninvasive ultrasound technique temporarily changes brain activity during thinking tasks. Researchers will use brain scans to measure these changes in 80 healthy volunteers. The goal is to gather knowledge that could inform future treatments for conditions like addiction, pain, and mental health disorders.
