Summary

This study aimed to understand the brain mechanisms behind bipolar disorder. Researchers used a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique while participants played a reward-based game inside an MRI scanner. They compared brain activity in 146 adults with and without bipolar disorder to see how stimulation affected emotional and reward processing.
