Zapping the brain to boost memory: scientists probe deep circuits
NCT ID NCT07397897
Summary
This study aims to understand how a safe, noninvasive brain stimulation technique affects the brain's memory circuits. Researchers will work with 12 patients who already have electrodes implanted for epilepsy monitoring to measure brain activity with high precision. The goal is to learn how stimulation influences specific memory-related brain waves, which could guide future treatments for memory disorders.
