Zapping the brain to silence ringing ears?
NCT ID NCT06628414
Summary
This study is testing if a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique can reduce the loudness and distress of tinnitus. Researchers will give 40 adults with tinnitus gentle electrical stimulation to the scalp to see if it changes brain activity linked to the condition. The goal is to gather information to design a larger future trial to see if this approach can effectively treat tinnitus symptoms.
