Summary

This study is testing whether deep brain stimulation (DBS) can help reduce muscle stiffness and improve movement in people who have had a stroke. Researchers will implant a small device in the brain and test different stimulation settings during rehabilitation. The trial involves 12 participants who had a stroke 9-36 months ago and still experience significant stiffness and movement problems.
