Zapping the brain to relearn walking after stroke

NCT ID NCT07073235

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive magnetic brain stimulation technique, combined with physical therapy, can help people who had a stroke more than six months ago improve their walking, balance, and leg movement. Participants will receive either the real stimulation or a sham (fake) version, followed by physical therapy, to see if the treatment helps the brain rewire itself for better recovery. Researchers will also use brain scans to understand how the treatment might work.
