NCT ID NCT06134921

First seen Feb 28, 2026 · Last updated May 16, 2026 · Updated 8 times

Summary

This study tested whether adding a mild electrical current to the brain (called transcranial electrical stimulation) during physical therapy helps people who had a stroke. 60 adults who had a stroke between 2 weeks and 2 years earlier took part. The goal was to see if this combo improves movement, thinking, and brain activity. Results could support using this safe, non-invasive technique in clinics.
