Zapping the brain to sharpen minds in schizophrenia?

NCT ID NCT04267003

Summary

This research study is exploring whether a mild, painless electrical current applied to the forehead (called tDCS) can improve thinking, memory, and attention problems in people with schizophrenia. It will compare different ways of delivering the stimulation and measure brain activity to understand how it might work. The study is not designed to treat or cure schizophrenia, but to gather information that could guide future treatment research.
