Zapping the brain to unfreeze Parkinson's walkers

NCT ID NCT07190235

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can improve walking problems in people with Parkinson's disease. Researchers will use a magnetic coil placed on the scalp to stimulate a specific brain area involved in movement planning. They will compare different stimulation patterns to see which one best helps with starting to walk, walking speed, and balance over a few weeks.
