Magnetic pulses to the brain tested as new OCD treatment
NCT ID NCT04934007
Summary
This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can help reduce symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It involves 136 adults with OCD who haven't gotten enough relief from at least two different medications. Researchers will use magnetic pulses on a specific brain area to see if it significantly reduces OCD symptoms and improves daily functioning.
