Brain zap breakthrough: triggering symptoms before treatment could help severe OCD
NCT ID NCT07429500
Summary
This study tests whether briefly triggering obsessive-compulsive symptoms right before brain stimulation makes the treatment more effective for people with severe OCD who haven't responded to standard treatments. Researchers will compare two groups: one receiving only brain stimulation, and another receiving symptom triggering followed by brain stimulation. The goal is to see if this combination approach helps reduce OCD symptoms more effectively.
