Brain zaps target OCD in groundbreaking trial

NCT ID NCT07113652

Summary

This study is testing whether a new, non-invasive brain stimulation technique called Temporal Interference can help reduce symptoms of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). It involves 18 adults with moderate-to-severe OCD who haven't responded well to at least two standard medications. Researchers will use brain scans and symptom tracking to see if stimulating specific brain areas improves OCD symptoms over several weeks.
