Zapping brain pain: faster treatment tested for chronic nerve suffering
NCT ID NCT07148388
Summary
This study is testing a new, faster schedule of non-invasive brain stimulation to see if it can better relieve chronic nerve pain. Researchers are comparing this accelerated method against the standard stimulation treatment in 120 adults who have had nerve pain for at least three months. The goal is to see which approach reduces pain more effectively and how it changes brain activity.
