Summary

This study tested whether repeated electrical brain stimulation could improve mental health and cognitive function in people with multiple sclerosis (MS). Fifty-three adults with MS received either real or fake stimulation in a double-blind setup. The researchers measured quality of life, sleep, psychological distress, and thinking speed. The goal was to see if this non-invasive approach could ease some of the mental burdens of MS.
