Magnetic pulses to the brain tested to help fend off memory loss

NCT ID NCT06095063

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique, combined with memory training, can help improve thinking skills in older adults who are worried about their memory and have a family history of Alzheimer's disease. About 30 participants will receive either the real stimulation or a sham (fake) version while doing cognitive exercises. Researchers will measure changes in memory, other mental abilities, mood, and brain activity to see if this combined approach is helpful.
