Magnetic pulses to the brain tested for treating hand cramps

NCT ID NCT06015672

Summary

This study is testing whether a faster schedule of non-invasive brain stimulation can improve hand control and writing in people with focal hand dystonia, a condition causing involuntary muscle contractions in the hand. Researchers will give participants four magnetic stimulation sessions in one day and measure changes in brain activity and writing ability over several weeks. The goal is to see if this accelerated approach can reduce symptoms and help develop better treatments.
