Zapping the brain to ease fibromyalgia pain?
NCT ID NCT07239427
Summary
This study is testing whether a mild, non-invasive brain stimulation technique helps people with fibromyalgia manage their pain better when it's added to a standard pain management program. All 68 participants will receive education about pain and do therapeutic exercises, but half will get real brain stimulation while the other half gets a fake version to compare results. The main goal is to see if the real stimulation leads to a bigger improvement in how much fibromyalgia impacts daily life.
