Zapping food cravings: brain stimulation trial targets overeating

NCT ID NCT06639594

Summary

This early-stage study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can help people with obesity control excessive eating. Researchers will recruit 30 adults to see if the treatment is safe, tolerable, and feasible to deliver. The main goal is to gather preliminary data on whether this personalized, accelerated approach could become a future therapy for impulse control issues around food.
