Magnetic pulses target epileptic brain activity

NCT ID NCT00382707

Summary

This study tested whether magnetic stimulation applied to the skull could help control seizures in people with epilepsy that doesn't respond well to medications. Researchers measured brain activity before and after treatment sessions to understand how the stimulation might calm overactive brain circuits. The goal was to gather information that could improve both drug and non-drug treatments for epilepsy.
