Brain zaps tested to fight long COVID depression

NCT ID NCT07197138

Summary

This study is testing if a faster schedule of a non-invasive brain stimulation treatment can help people who have both depression and Long COVID. Researchers will compare a standard 6-week treatment to an intensified 5-day treatment to see if the faster approach better reduces inflammation in the blood and improves depression, fatigue, and sleep. The goal is to gather early evidence to plan larger future trials.
