Zapping the brain to fight dementia: new study tests electrical stimulation

Summary
This study is testing whether different types of gentle electrical brain stimulation, when combined with memory exercises, can help people with dementia. Participants will receive four weeks of treatment followed by twelve weeks off, repeating this cycle with different stimulation types. Researchers will measure changes in memory, thinking skills, and brain activity to see which approach works best.
