Zapping pain away? brain stimulation trial seeks relief for chronic sufferers
NCT ID NCT07432841
Summary
This study is testing a personalized, non-invasive brain stimulation technique to see if it can help reduce chronic pain. Researchers will recruit 144 adults with long-term pain that hasn't responded well to other treatments. Participants will receive either real or placebo stimulation over one week, and their pain levels and brain activity will be measured before and after treatment, and again three months later.
