First seen Mar 03, 2026 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 9 times

Summary

This study tested a gentle, non-invasive brain stimulation technique as an add-on to standard detox treatment for 60 adults with chronic migraine and medication overuse. The goal was to see if it could reduce the number of days with moderate-to-severe headaches and help people use less pain medication. Researchers also looked for biological markers that might predict who benefits most.
