Magnetic pulses to fight 'Chemo Brain'?

NCT ID NCT04966520

Summary

This small, completed pilot study explored whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique could help improve memory and concentration problems, often called 'chemo brain,' in cancer survivors. Fifteen adults who had finished curative chemotherapy and reported cognitive issues received a treatment called accelerated theta-burst stimulation (iTBS). Researchers used brain scans and thinking tests to see if the treatment was feasible and if it led to any changes in brain chemistry or cognitive function.
