Zapping the brain to help autism social skills?

NCT ID NCT04936009

Summary

This Yale University study is testing whether a safe, noninvasive brain stimulation technique can improve how the brain processes social information in adults with autism. Researchers will measure brain activity and eye movements before and after a single stimulation session to see if it helps with recognizing faces and paying attention to social cues. The goal is to see if this approach could one day help ease core social challenges for people on the autism spectrum.
