Magnetic pulses to the brain: can they help adults with autism read faces?

NCT ID NCT04242355

Summary

This Yale University study is exploring whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique called rTMS can affect how adults with autism process social information. Researchers will measure brain activity, eye movements, and social task performance before and after a single stimulation session. The goal is to understand if this approach could potentially influence the brain systems involved in social challenges associated with autism.
