Brain 'GPS' treatment targets anxiety at its source

NCT ID NCT07121712

Summary

This study is testing whether a non-invasive brain stimulation technique can help reduce symptoms of Generalized Anxiety Disorder. Researchers are using a precise, GPS-like system to target a specific area of the brain thought to be involved in anxiety. Participants will receive either the real treatment or a placebo version over seven days to see if it makes a difference in their anxiety levels.
