Brain zaps aim to slow Alzheimer's decline

NCT ID NCT07075770

Summary

This study tests a new, non-invasive brain stimulation treatment for people with mild Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will use a combination of magnetic and electrical pulses, targeted to specific brain networks, to try to slow the progression of memory and thinking problems. The 6-month trial will measure changes in daily function, memory tests, and blood markers in 60 participants to see if this approach can help control the disease.
