Zapping the brain to fight Alzheimer's memory loss

NCT ID NCT04122001

Summary

This study is testing whether a safe, non-invasive brain stimulation technique, combined with word-list training, can help improve memory and language skills in people with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers at Johns Hopkins University are enrolling 90 participants with typical memory-loss Alzheimer's or a language-focused variant to see if this combined approach provides benefits. The goal is to see if this non-drug method can ease symptoms and improve quality of life for patients and caregivers.
