Zapping the brain to fight Alzheimer's memory loss

NCT ID NCT06094192

Summary

This study is testing if a gentle, non-invasive electrical stimulation to the brain can help improve memory in people with Alzheimer's disease. Researchers believe memory problems may be linked to poor coordination between different brain areas, and this stimulation aims to help them work together better. The study will involve 204 participants, including people with Alzheimer's, those with mild memory concerns, and healthy older adults for comparison.
