Zapping the brain to fight Alzheimer's: new trial tests magnetic & electrical stimulation

Summary
This study is testing whether a personalized, non-invasive brain stimulation treatment can help slow the progression of mild Alzheimer's disease. Researchers will combine magnetic and electrical stimulation targeting specific brain networks involved in memory and thinking. The 6-month trial will measure changes in memory, daily function, and brain activity in 60 participants with mild Alzheimer's.
